Training Philosophy: My philosophy on training is to train the complete athlete in order to maximize their athletic potential for their specific sport. This includes improving their performance by enhancing their strength, agility, mobility, flexibility and cardiovascular capacity. Watching how an athlete moves, and teaching them how to move efficiently and effectively is a big focus area in my training. Injury prevention is also very important to me, as it is easier to prevent an injury than it is to rehab one.
Expert Focus: Olympic lifting and Biomechanics.
Education: Graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors of Science in Education, Major: Kinesiology & Exercise Science in August 2009.
Certifications: NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Etcheberry Level 1 Tennis Certifcation.
Experience: Summer 2008 Intern for the University of Kentucky Athletics Strength & Conditioning Department. Summer 2009 Intern for Etcheberry Sports and was hired full time in September 2009.
